Dr. Dennis Quijano, MD, is a physician and software developer with more than two decades of clinical experience. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Perpetual Help – Rizal (2002) and completed residency training in Family & Community Medicine at the University of the Philippines–Philippine General Hospital. He is licensed to practice medicine by the Board of Medicine of the Professional Regulations Commission in the Philippines. His clinical career has spanned family medicine practice in the Philippines, occupational health and emergency medical services for a multinational workforce in Qatar, and, currently, family medicine practice in Grand Bahama, The Bahamas.
In 2025, Dr. Quijano founded BluePalm Hub, a custom software development company serving healthcare and small business clients. He has designed and implemented electronic medical record systems for low-resource healthcare settings, and has presented original research on hurricane-resilient, distributed EMR architecture for small island developing states — work recognized as one of the Top 5 Poster Presentations at the Medical Association of the Bahamas' Annual Scientific Conference (2026). He holds a CompTIA IT Fundamentals certification and is pursuing further formal education in software engineering.
